Reviews
Excellent exhibition with amazingly many different light sculptures.
The thematic, while being international, also represents characteristics of Hungary. There are even hidden Easter eggs in many items.
The accompanying musical creation is also top notch, there is some really creative and high quality stuff.
Definitely very much recommended.
Was an OK experience. I wasn't too impressed with the displays or technology, I've seen better in Asia. I liked the cultural significance to Budapest and Hungary. Took around 1 hour to see everything. Possibly not worth the entrance fee.
Limited and expensive snack stalls
We’ve visited Lumina Park on a weekday and it wasn’t very busy which was great. If you are visiting with a disabled person, you and the disabled person get a small discount. There was no wait when purchasing tickets at the ticket office. Once you’ve purchased the tickets you’ll have to walk down a bit to enter the park.
The lights there are absolutely beautiful. It was a unique experience. And we took so many pictures. Great if you love taking pictures for Instagram. Great for content creators too.
The place was wheelchair and pram friendly. There are ramps where there are stairs. And the ground was flat.
If you are visiting Budapest, I highly recommend visiting lumina park on Margaret island.
Nice place to visit especially with kids.
Remember to buy the ticket online, otherwise you have to walk a long path to the ticket office. Then you should go all the way back to the entrance.
Great experience and worthy of a visit. Avoid the mulled wine seller halfway in the display, the mulled wine is simply hot red water
Fantastic light park for children and adult also. It takes about 1 hour to walk around all the light attractions. Part is outside and park inside an aquapark.
Recommended to visit at night!
Family ticket cost 16900HUF. You can buy ticket online in advance.
Fantastic lights. Really enjoyable walk in the evening. The lights are really well put together. Definately worth a visit!
Directions were a little vague and we ended up walking a long way round to find the entrance but once we were in it was very impressive and glad we went. I would recommend this attraction if you are there.
